A powerful female vocal, described by California’s Rawckus Magazine as a blend of icons such as Avril Lavigne, Alanis Morissette and Lady Gaga. The project began during the pandemic, when original songs written by singer Janet caught the attention of music outlets and gradually grew into a four-piece band. Balancing melody with gritty guitars, the band builds its sound on contrast and atmosphere and their style is often labeled as grunge pop. Janet A has released two EPs (Janet A in 2019 and Freak in 2021) and recently unveiled their debut album From The Left To The Right End (2025). Key milestones include a performance at the Rock For People festival and work at Berlin’s Riverside Studios after winning a European competition organized by Musichub.
